Upcoming News & Events

The holiday season will soon be upon us, so we want to take a quick moment before the "craziness begins" to say " Thank You! " for making the Boulder Cello Project such a great success! To show our thanks, we're having a fun Holiday Raffle and Giveaway during our November playin session. Don't miss this play-in so you can enter your name to win some BCP merchandise!

  • December Playin - Just a friendly reminder that BCP will not have a monthly playin session in December. We know some of you will be extremely disappointed, but we want everyone to spend time with their family and friends - us included! Don't worry, the BCP team will be using this "break" to plan next year's playins and events to make BCP bigger and better! We have lots of ideas and plans in store for you - can't wait!

  • Beginner Ensemble 4-Hour Workshop - This mini-workshop will help beginner cellists feel more comfortable joining our Play-in sessions. This workshop is optional and is not required to join any of our play-in sessions. Intermediate cellists who want to brush up on ensemble skills are also welcome.
Our guided monthly play-ins are geared to have FUN and are not meant to provide individual instruction or lessons. However, this workshop is geared towards ensemble skills and instruction to play with others with the goal that more beginner cellists are able to join our sessions with confidence and play comfortably with others.

The music we will work on will be in first position and would work for those first-year students in Suzuki Book 1. The difficulty level of the music was chosen so attendees can also focus on listening and their ensemble skills.
